Overview

Keypath Education is seeking a Senior Web/CMS Developer to join our IT team!

 

As a Senior Web/CMS Developer, you will develop public-facing websites that are user-friendly for the general public and for internal business users.  You should possess key technical skills which includes Drupal customization, native PHP development, and web services integration and development (using PHP and jQuery).  Previous experience with MVC frameworks and web services is important in this role. Also, as the Sr CMS Developer, you should have a familiarity with Internet marketing concepts, such as search engine optimization and paid search marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Working with web developers and website marketers to build easy-to-use, high-performance websites
  • Participating in the full development lifecycle, including estimation, development, testing, and deployment
  • Providing guidance on application design
  • Communicating project status and timelines to business stakeholders
  • Reviewing and responding to operational issues, escalating as necessary
  • Working with IT management to implement strategic improvements
  • Supporting development of other developers through mentoring, code review, and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

 

Experience:

  • Five to seven years’ experience in the following technologies is required: HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, SQL, and PHP, including three to five years’ experience in CMS development.
  • Candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, proven analytical and interpersonal skill, and have proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.
    • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to successfully work with all levels of management.
    • Supervisory management skills and the ability to oversee delegated tasks.
    • Proven ability to effectively provide training and explain processes and procedures.
    • Knowledge of planning processes and issues.
