About the role


You will play an important role in shaping the success of UK online higher education over the coming years. We are determined to be the sector’s foremost ‘online enabler’ and will be delivering courses for some of our nation’s best institutions.


Due to exponential growth, Keypath is looking for an experienced front end web developer to join its growing team in Coventry. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic web developer with strong technical and communication skills to join a small team that creates and supports technology for learning, teaching and assessment. Reporting to the Senior Instructional Designer, the candidate will be able to demonstrate an established track record for creating exceptional performance, cross-platform code & smart, beautiful and frictionless user journeys.


Keypath Education UK is undergoing significant growth and expansion but currently is a relatively small and closely-knit team. How to apply


Please submit a covering letter (of no more than three pages), describing how you meet the person specification. 


  • Work in a creative team environment to develop responsive html/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery) code to form page templates, prototypes and production code, that is performant and accessible across all common browsers
  • Provide diligent user testing and ensure your work delivers an intuitive and memorable user experience
  • Advise on user interface best practices to meet performance and client requirements
  • Develop images for courseware through image creation/manipulation software packages
  • Contribute to continuous improvement


  • 2-3 years Front-End Web Development experience.
  • Strong HTML5 and CSS3 semantic, hand-coding skills
  • Proficient in JavaScript (jQuery)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing responsive, cross-browser websites
  • Experience in working collaboratively using technical specifications for interactive websites
  • Proven understanding of web and mobile technologies and standards
  • Demonstrable experience of usability/accessibility best practices
  • Excellent project management, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with expertise in Photoshop in particular
