As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. You should be an innovative leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who can take an active lead in identifying process improvement while working alongside the Finance Team.  As the CFO, you should have a progressive management style who embraces change and who can challenge and encourage their team.


  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Mentor and develop finance team, managing work allocation, systems training and performance evaluations
  • Coordination of preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal payroll taxes
  • Review, implement and ensure proper functioning of all financial system, software and tools
  • Ensure underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with GAAP
  • Review, implement and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Provide ongoing budget analysis, financial reports, and financial trends to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain and optimize bank and credit relationships
  • Represent the company with investment bankers and investors
  • Collaborate with other departments and provide financial leadership, help identify opportunities within each
  • Select, engage and own relationship with tax/audit service providers (run RFP process)
  • Coordination of preparation and timely filing of local, state and federal income taxes
  • Administration and maintenance of expense reporting software (Concur), including Inc separation agreements
  • Administration and maintenance of corporate credit card program, including Inc separation agreements
  • Manage support for external tax and financial audits
  • Creation of reports and implementation of functionality and tools for budgeting and forecasting
  • Executing and coordinating bank paperwork to establish Inc. banking and Cashpro platform


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, CPA required



  • 10+ years’ experience in the Accounting/Finance area
  • “Hands On” ERP Systems Experience – Microsoft AX, JD Edwards or Oracle experience preferred
  • Background coordinating with IT staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system
  • Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
  • Leadership ability, team management and interpersonal skills 

Technical skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher.
  • ERP Systems Experience – Microsoft AX, JD Edwards or Oracle experience preferred
