Overview

Keypath Education in Lenexa is seeking an experienced Vice President of Partnership Development to join our Business Development Team.

 

As the Vice President (VP) of Partnership Development, you will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing and targeting prospective new agency business opportunities for Keypath Education.  The VP of Partnership Development will be responsible for developing comprehensive partnership plans and sales strategy to identifying and calling on prospects and key decision makers within targeted accounts.  The VP will work with the new business team present the company’s services, respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and close new business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key targeted customers to generate new business opportunities
  • Work with the new business team on the pitch and strategy development
  • Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
  • Understand company resources and strengths and collaborate with internal team members to develop and sell solutions that address partner/client objectives
  • Implement processes and methods to generate revenue
  • Interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure the company priorities and directions are aligned
  • Develop and cultivate deep senior level relationships with new partners/clients to create competitive map for growing business strategies
  • Address issues, questions and concerns regarding products and services, bringing in internal subject matter experts as needed
  • Achieve budgeted revenue growth per organizational goals
  • Continually investigate and introduce new business opportunities
  • Perform other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management
  • Ability to travel as needed

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

 

Experience:

  • 5 plus years of consultative sales experience selling relevant agency solutions
  • Proven ability to consult with clients to influence thinking
  • Diligent new business process
  • Independent work style and self-motivated
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

 

Technical skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher.

 

Special Requirements Specific to Job:

  • Acutely aware of market trends and any dynamics in the industry that may affect day-to-day operations
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven business development skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
